Assignment # 7

Multimedia Journalism Final Project

I have decided that my last project will be a feature story about the Communication Department at Westfield State. This project will combine text, video, photos & audio with an exclusive inside look within the department.  The photos will show the various mac labs, classrooms, & professors office within the department. The audio piece will include an interview with a comm student speaking about the perks of studying communication. The video will either be an interview with a professor or a tour through the third floor of Ely, the main part of the department. Text within this feature will include a description of the events the comm club arranges with a brief history of the major. These ideas are a work in process as I continue this project.Details may change but this is what I am thinking at the moment.

Assignment #4 Audio Slide Show

I have completed my audio slide show of stanley park. My slide show mainly focused on the activities portion of the park.  There could be many slide shows about stanley park, it is alot bigger than people think with the back trails.  I am going to post my assignment #4 audio slide show on my website sometime in the near future.

Assignment #2

I plan to tell the story of Stanley Park through a visual slide show. Stanley Park is an important part of the Westfield state campus...it takes students out of the element into peaceful nature. In the springtime its filled with students playing frisbee to lounging in the sun....happy to be out in the warm fresh air.  In the wintertime its a fun place to explore with endless paths.  Its a great place to walk around with friends to take a break from the stresses of school. Its an important aspect of the Westfield state campus that should never be forgotten.
